Pierce College offers the Certificate in Legal Interpreting at both the Ft. Steilacoom and Puyallup campuses. The program is designed to prepare students to work as an interpreter for law firms and to prepare for certification or other official status as a court interpreter. Students will be familiarized with professional requirements, ethical decision-making and legal vocabulary, and will gain skills in the process of interpreting in a legal context.
