WITS is a society of court interpreters and translators in Washington State. We are proud of the progress our profession has made in our state. Through the state The Administrative Office of the Courts, many languages used in our courts are now being certified and programs for orienting judges and court personnel on the use of interpreters in the courtroom setting have been produced. Research is continuing regarding the problems immigrants are facing in our judicial system. WITS sponsors numerous events designed to help the court interpreter and translator develop their skills, develop their business, and keep abreast of the emerging profession of the court interpreter. We abide by our Code of Conduct. We are powered by volunteers, check out our committees and get to be known! Please feel free to browse around and if you have any questions or comments, please contact our webmaster. WITS assumes no responsibility or liability for any content found on any linked sites.
